When One Latina Editor Closes Another One Opens

Latina magazine is getting rid of their current editor Betty Cortina and replacing her with former Vibe editor Mimi Valdes. With Valdes’ hip-hop background, could Latina be on the verge of getting Jane-y-er? Not that Jane was hip-hop, but you know, more youthful. Just so long as there are no Chingo Bling profiles. We’ll be watching.
