You’ve probably seen the nineties music video for the Hindu song “Pennin Manathai Thottu” a.k.a. “Crazy Indian Video” performed by Prabhu Deva –a successful singer and director in India. We had no clue what the song meant, only that Bollywood Kollywood musicals are an easy target to make fun of, until now: a random dude in Dayton, Ohio by the pseudonym of Buffalax has gone through the trouble of phonetically interpreting the lyrics into English. Of course, hilarity ensues.

Fantastic site. I just found it.

To keep it real, Pennin Manathai Thottu is a Tamil song not Hindi, which makes it Kollywood not Bollywood. Completely different languages and different film industries. Thought you’d want to know.
