Che Inspires Huey Chavez To Open Up His Wallet

With Che Guevara tributes and celebrations going on around the world–well just Cuba really– Venezuelan Prez Huey Chavez decided to join the party by commemorating the rebel leader’s life with a sixty-percent wage increase for his nation’s doctors. He plans to pay for the raise by tapping into some liquid gold resources because we all know there’s no sign the world will stop guzzling oil soon. Huey proclaimed what he felt was a noble manner in which to spend his country’s dough:
“This is justice for those that work for life and health of the Venezuelan people,” Chavez said at the ceremony in Caracas, according to a statement from the government’s Information Ministry.
But will they be receiving the t-shirts?
