Daddy Yankee And “Cane” Conspire In Latino Cheese Juggernaut

Here’s a clip from last night’s episode of “Cane”. We were totally comatose until “Daddy Yankee” made a cameo and sent us into a Reggaeton induced seizure by reciting the common formula of “papi”, “who’s your Daddy”, and “bom bom” lyrics. In the scene, Alex’s wife (Alex is Jimmy Smits’ character) ends up at her little brother’s club in order to test out her moves because, really, what Latina mama doesn’t want to shake her ass? (Stereotype? Check.) Let’s just hope we weren’t about to see some bro-on-sis perreoing because that would be some down home Florida shit we can’t hang with. Then Alex’s teen daughter takes ecstacy and doesn’t want mami to find out, so her tío lets her hide in his office, with the provision that, next time, she take her drug use to another club. Ah, familia.
