A site masquerading as CNN.com, under the url “http://www.cnnheadlienews.com,” claimed the recent wave of fires eating up Southern California was started by a group of radical Mexican immigrants, going so far as to claim photographic evidence of these supposed terrorists throwing Molotov cocktails into the raging inferno. The hoax site is registered to Bleach Boy Heavy Manufacturing, a Nashville, Tennessee-based company. While the website has since been taken down, it was up long enough to capture the attention of several prominent news blogs, such as that eschelon of hard-hitting journalism, Hillbilly White Trash, whose writer asks “Do I get any points for not titling this post, ‘Beaners build big blaze’?”

Why sure. It beats “Big, built beaners blaze,” which was our original title for this post.
