French radio station Cherie FM honored Mexican pop band RBD with a “Best International Song” award for their single “Tu Amor.” RBD can thank its success to “Rebelde,” the television show that unleashed them onto the world, and to its sitcom spinoff “RBD: La Familia,” which has grown immensely popular in France. Bandmembers Anahí, Dulce, Maite, Christopher, Christian and Poncho were on hand to receive the award and send young French hearts all atwitter with their dreamy and rebellious ways.

God, the French are so terribly lame. (Ponche, notre petit chou en moutarde, téléphone-nous.) Ahem.
