Guanabee To Go: El Museo Del Barrio Parties On Dia De Los Muertos With Tequila And Lucha Libre

El Museo del Barrio is conjuring a freakishly good time this Friday with a Dia de los Muertos-themed fundraiser. Proceeds from the event go towards funding educational programs at the museum. In addition to Mexican-inspired food and cocktails, a gigantic altar decorated with flowers and the opportunity to mingle with the undead, the party will also feature a lucha libre match, (Hell. Yes.), with current world contender Romeo Roselli. If you feel like splurging, you can join us while we get drunk off tequila (for a good cause other than, well, getting drunk) and watch grown, masked men in nylon tights throw each other around in something other than an American Apparel ad. Whoah! The Latino New World Order is in full effect at this fundraiser! Tickets are $150, day-um meng! Let me know how it turns out, I’ll be outside throwin up gang signs. Queens to the shizzel.
Sometimes, living in Dallas stinks. I’m missing out on lucha libre, tequila on tap and some Dia de los Muertos kind of fun. Bummer.
At least I can send my friends a Dia de los Muertos postcard from the ever thoughtful Dallas Morning News!
I went last year it was amazing, you’ve never seen so much tequila in one place in your life.
