In addition to dressing our pets, enjoying tequila-laced pumpkin latte eye-openers, and bingeing and vomiting candy corn, we are looking forward to dressing up for Halloween and scaring the shit out of little kids. So, we found the most spine-tingling costumes that are sure to instill horror in your neighbors in a “fear-of-a-black-planet” kinda way, but browner:

“Mexican Serape Adult”

The description of the costume helpfully reminds you that “Mustache [sic] and toy guns sold separately”, because, as you know, all Mexicans pack heat and have ’stashes. Including the ladies!

“South of the Border Adult”

More like $2 Tijuana slut! The tambourine is not included, by the way. Although we bet the STDs are.

“Mexican Lupita Royal Collection Adult”

We shit you not:

This deluxe quality costume includes a white peasant style shirt and matching drawstring waist skirt, both with colorful rick rack trim, red waist scarf and a colorful sarape inspired shall [sic]. Pair with the Mexican Mariachi for a couples costume that is “muy bueno”!

Muy fucked up is more like it. And lastly, why stop stereotyping with the humans:

The only thing more horrifying than a Mexican is a Mexican dog. Or did they mean that Mexicans are dogs?

That’s some fucked up shit right there.

I’m sure my mariachi traje would make a great Halloween costume, except for the fact that I am an actual mariachi and that traje cost me upwards of 300 dollars.

Hey, I don’t know what you’re talking about, that “Mexican Luptia” costume is HOT! I would totally wear that to accentuate my Hispanic exotic-ness. It’ll turn on all the gringos when I say “no e-spica English…”

Is that Borat in the “Mexican sarape adult” costume?

I’ve never seen anyone wear one of these costumes, but then again maybe the stores don’t sell them in LA. I have seen people almost get in fights with people dressed up as a Native Americans.

    These stupid lame-ass costumes, again!?!

A testament to what quick-buck-minded entrepreneurs think about when they want to sell some frat kids or midwestern cubemonkey some jokey disposable costume that will tap into their fantasies about being as lovely (or darkly enough, lazy) as a Mexican. Whatever.

The “South of the Border” outfit looks more like a bad gypsy outfit from the 70s.

“Lupita”!?! Truly original. Some frat kids at CSUN a number of years ago got in trouble for writing a drinking song about her. Suffice to say it wasn’t pretty.

And the dude with the Dirty Sanchez??? Man, he could have tried a little harder to cop Jorge Campos dope styles. All hail el Brody:

Yet more proof about how huevones these costume makers are about getting it right. Let’s just hope they don’t try and front on the original, El Tin-Tan:
