Reports are coming in that half a million people are now being evacuated from the Southwestern portion of California as well as confirmation of a second casualty. As can be seen from the California governor’s wildfire web site map at right, shit is getting toasty. After the jump, see a satellite image of the same area that looks like when we leave the Hungry Man Dinner in the oven too long.

But that’s only San Diego County! The LA Times has a better map available on their website.

We are still here and we’re not toast just yet. Feels as though the whole city is evacuated to Qualcomm stadium.
Things are going good at the stadium so far, so take that nasty republicans.
The fire shows no sin of abating, it’s still going strong, most of the city is fearful and shut down.
All schools are closed the rest of the week, city and county government are all preoccupied with the fire.
Air quality sucks, masks are sold out, we all fear power outage.
Our only defense is to get shit faced post haste.
