Master “Pick Up Artist” Kosmo’s An Actor. Well Sort Of.

Turns out VH1’s Master Pick Up Artist Kosmo isn’t really a shy nerd turned smoove brother with the ladies. He’s actually Alvaro Orlando, aspiring actor. Emphasis on the “aspiring” part as witnessed by his horrific acting reel featured here. It would seem that Kosmo didn’t do “The Pick Up Artist” for the betterment of his soul as he often stated, but that VH1 planted the actor to play the beleaguered latino who hears Saddam Hussein in his head. Says his profile on artist representative site Scene:
I am extremely creative and I bring so much colors to every character. I love playing roles that really challenge me and make me dig deep down to pull those emotions and inner life that alot of actors are not able to do. I have just moved to Los Angeles and I just finished a Major Motion Picture to be Released all over Europe, called SHADOW BOXING 2. I am constantly working on my craft and instrument, I am always looking to learn and expand. Hollywood hasn’t seen nothing yet!!!!

His mouth always bothered me. Enough so that I couldn’t watch the show, let alone a whole movie with him in it.
I think this is the worst reel I have ever seen; what’s the deal with the first act, what the hell is he playing?
