According to the Latin American Clown Association, (What? Why are you laughing?) Mexico has some 10,000 working clowns. Of those, about 3,000 are women. Add to that every clown in Latin America and the U.S. and you have the clown convention that converged at the 12th Annual International Clown Convention in Mexico City this week. It’s a scene that looks trippier than a thousand coked up ravers in furry, fluorescent backpacks on poppers. Also, we want our mommies.

The Latin American Clown Association?
Isn’t it easier to just say “Carlos Mencia?”

How about Brozo El Payaso Tenebroso, he’s that pinche clown that sounds like a borracho, wears a green wig, and talks shit all day on Mexican TV.
