Mexican Restaurant On Lockdown For Maybe Serving Bambi Enchiladas

La Charreada, a Mexican restaurant in Greencastle, Indiana was closed for two days after health inspectors found a half-butchered deer carcass in the kitchen. The headless, gutted, skinned deer was reported to the health authorities by an electrician who was working in the restaurant. If that doesn’t make you want to vomit, this will. According to the Greencastle Banner-Graphic:

Department of Natural Resources officers who were friends with one of the [restaurant’s] employees brought the deer, which had been hit and killed by a car, to the restaurant at the request of the employee.

Oh, deer! The employees responsible for the venison slaughterfest have been since let go. However, it is unclear whether some tasty bambi made it into the fajitas. Yummo! It makes Chipotle sound like New York’s swanky Le Bernardin.
