Mexican Students Use Food To Make Clothes. We Volunteer To Undress The Models.

Speaking of environmentalism, in this video a group of culinary students in Mexico City prove what we already know—that Latinos are the original recyclers.

Instead of luxury fabrics like silk and taffeta, pineapples, beans and chillies [sic] were the main materials used to create clothing at a fashion show put on by culinary students at a Mexican university. Students wanted to show people that you can do much more with food than eating it.

Is there a danger of people growing tired of eating food? Regardless, this does look like it could be a lot more fun to take off. Ham pants, anyone?
