Miriam Rivera, the Mexican transsexual from the reality dating show “There’s Something About Miriam,” has reportedly distanced herself from the US premiere of her show because of the intense scrutiny and physical danger it brought to her life when it first aired in England. The premise, if you haven’t already heard, consists of a septet of horn-dogs who are duped into believing they are all lusting for a woman with, you know, a vagina. Fox Reality plans to release the show this fall in the US without Rivera’s promotion:

Sources say [Miriam] was seriously injured last spring when she was thrown out of a third-story window at her home. “She’s not doing any press. She’s living a very private life now,” a Fox Reality spokeswoman told Page Six. And Miriam still has her male equipment.

Well thank God for that. Cuz what’s most important here is that she’s still a tranny.
