Noxema Jackson, Chi-Chi Rodriguez More Mentally Stable Than Their White Vida Boheme Counterparts

Being African-American or Latino or gay (or god forbid, the formidable trifecta of the gay blatino) brings with it enough issues to occupy the most ambitious of human-rights activists. So it was with particular joy that we read about a recent study conducted at Columbia that found that “blacks and Latinos report significantly fewer mental disorders than whites.” It was widely theorized that due to the fact that brown gays have to battle both racism and homophobia, they’d be doubly fucked-up in the head. Apparently, not so! Ilan Meyer, professor of clinical sociomedical sciences at Columbia states:

These findings suggest that black lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals have effective ways to cope with prejudice related to racism and homophobia.

And by “effective ways to cope” they mean snorting coke lines off a Dominican male hooker’s ass. Works for us every time!
