Paulina Rubio decided posing without her chones with a Mexican flag covering her chocha would be a fabulous idea. We totally give it a thumbs up. Unfortunately for “La Chica Dorada” the photo spread in this month’s issue of Cosmopolitan from Spain (go get it, hurry!) spawned some serious inquiry from officials claiming defamation of a national symbol and now the Mexican government wants to raid her bank account. Under “Article who gives a shit” of the Mexican constitution, the penalty for using the flag as a chocha-cover is a fine of up to $4,000 and/or 36 hours in jail. In her defense, Paulina’s mama revealed that her daughter never authorized the release of the photos.

I am not sure if these are fake, but I do know that there are photos from seven years ago that Paulina took and she never authorized for their release. If you take a closer look at the images you will see that they are not real.

We hope our mama backs us up with the photoshop defense when our nude pics are revealed. But seriously, where’s this dude when you really need him.

She’s the China Poblana for the modern age! “See for yourself.”:http://www.eventoplus.com.mx/admin/providers/87/poblana.jpg

An idle, if not blatantly sexist question: If there were bikini models with mexican flag bikinis, where would the coat of arms go? Aguila y Serpiente over the panooch?

At any rate, “at least Paulina’s doing better than this,”: http://www.bathsheba69.com/specials/100MEX.jpg right?

Another idle queston: Why aren’t vets (U.S. and Mexican) complaining about similar uses of their respective flags?

If only the Mexican government would investigate as seriously and as indignantly all the fucking terrible crap that happens in that country every day, such as hundreds of women murdered in Juarez, instead of getting all hung up on the flag…

@Grande Enchilada: More compelling question than mine, for sure. I bow three times in your general direction out of respect.

I don’t know what’s the big deal with Paulina Rubio wrapping herself in the Mexican flag. One of the Niño Heroes did the same thing and nobody fined him.
