A Hoboken, New Jersey police lieutenant is facing accusations of bigotry and discrimination from several Hispanic officers who worked with him. According to their federal rights suit, the officers allege that Lt. Angelo Andriani used racial slurs at work and sent racially charged emails to a Louisiana councilwoman regarding the recent racial controversies in Jena, Louisiana. All “K’s” in his email correspondance were capitalized. And, then, there’s this:
It also says Andriani forced two detectives to do chores at his Verona home while on the clock - allegations that could trigger a criminal investigation.
The cops said Andriani often boasted of his close ties to the chief of police and threatened to “bury” anyone who messed with him.
If he plays his cards right, perhaps Angelo will end up in a place where Latin guys can clean out his oven all day long.
New Jersey Lt. a ‘white supremacist,’ say officers in suit [NY Daily News]

What happens to he suit if Mr. Chota forced his fellow female Italian American officers to cook for him?
I shudder to think how his attorney is gonna handle this one.
