Sleeping Your Way To The Top: Villaraigosa Among Hispanic Business Magazine “100 Most Influential Hispanics”

Hispanic Business Magazine has compiled a list of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” for their October issue. The magazine selected the individuals based on visibility and influence. We almost fell asleep reading their underwhelming list of “Influentials” when a name caught our eye: Scarlet-letter-wearin‘ Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Say wha? When discussing their selection criteria, Hispanic Business states:

Our list is drawn from several sources [...] We look for people we think are having a great year now or who can expect a great year in 2008; people who are contributing to their communities or professions; people who are generally raising the bar in whatever they do.

Villaraigosa is sure the authority when it comes to “raising his bar” at reporters.
