This week’s People gives us more proof that Latinas are the new “it” girl as per Mathew McConaughey who is now apparently schtupping Brazilian model Camila Alves (they’ve been spotted wearing matching rings, though she hasn’t yet gotten him to put on a shirt):
“They’re not engaged,” says a source. Still, says another friend, “everyone is convinced he’ll be with her for a long time, if not forever.”
It’s commitment like that that makes us believe in love again.
And Matchbox 20 lead singer Rob Thomas drags seriously ill wife/model Marisol Maldonado (say that three times fast) out to publicize his “new” greatest hits album (do they have enough songs for that?):
In the backyard of their warm, country-style home in Bedford, NY, Rob Thomas gives his wife, Marisol, a once over. “You look so cute he tells her.” Even cuter? Marisol grabbing a watering can during the photo shoot and dousing her husband.
Awwww. (Wretch.) Well they did warn the world that they’re super ridiculously gay.

That’s funny, as a Latina (a Brazilian, even!!!!!) I feel like my stock was higher maybe five years ago, and now the hottest arm candy is Russian (sort of like blonde hair has replaced flip-flops as the hot accessory). But then, a lot of Anglo-white guys never lost their 1990’s-vintage Asian fetishes, and plenty of others never stopped preferring blondes at all.
White men are saving these latina hoes. Superman them HOESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
