In answer to the dear reader who emailed us this:
So, Juanes has a new CD out, available on iTunes (and probably in stores too, but I mean, come on), and I’m so sad I didn’t know. My first question was “Why didn’t Guanabee tell me???” So, a tip? If you do that sort of thing?
Our Editor-in-Chief has taken a special interest. (I.e. some things just set her off and we are powerless to stop her.) And so we present:

haha. it’s kinda like how i feel whenever people bring up mana (ie: mana’s playing next week, aren’t you excited!). i’ve learned to be a good sport about break their ill conceptions of what makes up good latin alternative (or for that matter, music in general) with a small concession (yeaaahhhh……i’m not a huge fan, but i do like one or two songs…).

OMG, you guys cover a crappy reggeatonie’s bout w/ illness but you don’t cover Juanes? and og dude singing og music??? wayyyyyyyyy confused over here. that’s like talking about tacos but not burritos when talking about mex street food. music is music.

Guana should have covered his album release regardless of personal taste. When you sell your site as the “it all” of Latino Affairs then you need to represent more than your personal interest or you loose credibility yourself.
