50% Mexican, 23.1% Talented Actress Jessica Alba Appears On A Magazine We’ve Never Heard Of
5 November 2007, 12:10 PM. By Alex Alvarez

Actress Jessica Alba graces the cover of this month’s Estylo magazine. What is Estylo magazine? Who knows! Why is Jessica Alba on its cover, she who has had a bit of a history downplaying her Latinaness (her father is Mexican) in order to land better roles in Hollywood (like the role of, say, Dane Cooke’s Girlfriend or some chick named Layla in the groundbreaking television series “The Love Boat: The Next Wave”)? Who cares! She’s about as interesting as clipping your toenails while listening to Coldplay. What we’re interested in is why the magazine decided to intentionally misspell “Estilo.” Why do people still think spelling something differently is automatically edgy or hip? What guanabees, man.
Oh.

Estylo? sounds like when i tried to teach my mom how to say pen in french.
It’s probably supposed to be eStyle-o. As you know, everything’s Spanish if you say it in English slow and loud with an “o” at the end. Add “comprend-ay?” at the end for flourish.
