Archaeologists uncovered a 4,000-year-old cave painting in a northern temple in Peru yesterday. Researchers used carbon-14 dating techniques to determine the temple walls were built sometime around 2,600 B.C:

The painting depicting a deer caught in nets marks the beginning of high culture in South America and suggests that there were earlier hunting cultures, said Walter Alvahe, the director of Sipan Royal Tombs Museum, who lead the excavation work.

Remains of Ricky Martin’s sex appeal, Jessica Alba’s Latinoness and the last time George Lopez was funny were also found in the cave.
