Dallas sure has come a long way from Strange Peaches according to this mini-doc “Fuera Del Closet: Gay Hispanic Immigrants In Dallas.” (Clever title!) Turns out gay Hispanics are changing shiz all up in the Dallas nightlife scene. Forget washing dishes. They are vaquero-ing, they are dragging and they are wearing butch-ass haircuts. Well, the women, anyway. But like true Latinos, they find a way to include the whole family—in their drag shows. Awwww. We’re a weird people.

oh! the gayborhood! I can spot the tile running by S4 anyday!
from experience, the gay latinos there are pretty nice. and they talk trash about everyone walking by in spanish. I found it amusing.
