Remember when Dick Cheney was all, “Hugo Chavez, the president of Peru…” and we were all, “Bwa ha ha!” Well, we’re not the only ones. Hugo Chavez has his own words of disdain for the Dick, says the Miami Herald:
Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez mocked Vice President Dick Cheney for confusing Venezuela with Peru, saying the verbal blunder shows the United States is governed by a “bunch of ignorant fools.” [Ed. Note: It took you this long to figure that out, Huey?] ”They don’t know where Venezuela is, nor do they know where Peru is,” Chávez told the crowd.
Whatever. Americans totally know that Venezuela is somewhere down there where the Mexicans are and Peru is like, you know, to the left of that.

Right because I’m sure the Chavez can remember all 50 states of the US. Not that I’m routing for Cheney, but I’m sure Chavez needs to realize he’s mostly like the “pot calling the kettle black” here.
Frankly his remark is reminiscent of an internet troll beriding another person over a grammar slip-up.
