Hispanic Business Magazine Discovers Latinos Use E-mail, Cellphones

In what is probably the retardedest “article” we’ve seen in a long time, Hispanic Business Magazine’s Hildy Medina reports that Latino executives like to use email and cell phones to stay connected (!!!). “From the founder of a nonprofit to the head of a multimillion-dollar engineering firm, the Hispanic executives we spoke to have one or more wireless devices that play a critical role in their day-to-day living.” We would have never guessed. George Pla, one of such trailblazing Hispanic executives has discovered the infinite wonders of the cellphone:

Having the mobile technology that allows him to conduct business from his car or off site allows him to use his time more efficiently. “I’m calling you on my car phone […] It’s really handy and really convenient for someone that’s on the road.”

Shocker. We thought Latinos used smoke signals, the burro express, and the quetzalcoatlPod.

What? I’m totally typing this from my tee pee.

Me too. From two feet away. Hey now!

Typing? what is that???

Me siento vacio sin mi telefono de botes y cuerda.

Should I now play to type and fling my caca at google and cell phone manufacturers?

the internets: more than just porn for white guys

Don’t tell them we use TiVo and read blogs. They just might blow their brains out from disbelief!

@dancecontestwinner: no, it’s porn for brown guys, too. Like me.

And duh, of course we use cell phones and the internet—how else do they expect us to place encrypted ads on craigslist to sell drugs, and be contacted by people to get said drugs? Guh, it’s like ::hello::.

and this right here, my friends, is the newest technology out there for all us ethnics!!!

I am lowly IT support and have two computers, two cell phones and a Ipod Touch all for work purposes.

Damn, I thought sending a pinche escuincle to give a message was more efficient!

@latinogamer: Yes, but how many of them did you buy from your cousin’s friend who works at Best Buy?

@pocachica - Laughing. My. Ass. Off!!!!!!

@pocachica: I have totally seen some people on the street do that.

That read like an article from 1998….

@marco
word!

besides the ipod, all of them were purchased by the company I work for.
