Lackadaisical Headline Writer Plays With Our Emotions

We all love Al Pacino. Like, a lot. Which is why our hearts sank when we read a story with the following headline in the Metro UK daily: “‘Al Pacino’ found dead in Brazilian car“. Turns out, it’s a story about a damn Brazilian show dog named Al Pacino who was found dead inside a stolen car. Big whoop. We like dogs but we don’t like when people scare us like that. To make it worse, the Metro includes a photo of the actor with the following caption under it:

This is Al Pacino, the still living actor, not the dead dog which this story is actually about.

Um, Metro? Slow news days are no excuse to fuck with us like that.
