





The new Menudo’s were announced Tuesday at a special time that we didn’t watch because it was at 3:00 in the afternoon—when we’re going into our post-lunch coma/nap. But we did catch the fact that they’d be appearing on the New York Daily News float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Turns out their first duties as the new queens princes of Latin pop was waving at your turkey-bloated ass from atop a giant fruit. Symbolism?
[15 year-old New Yorker Chris] Moy joined José (Monti) Montañez, 18, of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Carlos Olivero, 18, of Chicago, José Bordonada Collazo, 15, of Manati, Puerto Rico, and the show’s surprise late entrant Emmanuel Vélez Pagán, 16 of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, as a member of the new Menudo.
Looks like they managed to keep the majority of the group Puerto Rican. Let’s see if they can keep them from shaving off all their hair and waking up in someone else’s pants.
