MTV Tr3s Premieres “Karlifornia,” We Prefer “Alexbama,” “Cindycinnati” and “Gabrielahoma”

We don’t watch MTV Tr3s because the use of numbers as letters makes us a little trigger happy, but their new series “Karlifornia” seems like it has some potential. In that it can potentially also make us hate the bastardization of state names, which was something we’d honestly never given much though to previously. The show’s star, Karli Henriquez, seems like a nice, exceptionally enthusiastic young Latina living in L.A. We wish her the best! Ok. We’re going to go Californicate with a Virginia now. We put on our New Jersey for the occasion and everything.

what i’ve learned from that brief clip:
–homegirl eats. (yay!)
–homegirl looks for/finds Popeyes (cahuenga and hollywood
blvd.
–production can’t afford a PA to carry her fucking purse
–she’s uber annoying.
I can agree with the comments above.. über annoying.. she CAN eat.. and one more.. I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but when she is on KIIS radio station she’s upbeat with her “totally cool dude” accent, but when she’s on mtv tr3s… she develops this heavy latin accent.. which is funny to me.. haha she needs to get over it.. and off the air.. no one wants to see her or hear her.. I’d rather get my fashion advice from a trash bag than her.

If she decides to mention something about influencing Latinos to further education, or be good summaritans, or doing good deeds, maybe she’d be a GREAT role model, but instead she’s showing the most dismissal group of people where to shop!???

YOU ALL HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND THAT EVEN THOUGH THIS IS MTV TR3S IT’S STILL MTV! SHOWS COME AND GO AND NO ONES TRYING TO WIN A NOBEL PRIZE! ITS UP TO THE YOUTH TO SEE SOMEONE LIKE KARLI AND DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THEY WANT TO FOLLOW HER. I THINK SHE’S A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A YOUNG, SUCCESSFUL, INTELLIGENT, CURVY LATINA. YOU JUST HAVE TO READ IN BETWEEN THE LINES AND SEE THAT SHE’S JUST DOING HER JOB BY BEING AN ON AIR PERSONALITY. AND HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT MAYBE HER SPANISH ACCENT SHINES MORE ON THIS TR3S SHOW BECAUSE THATS HOW SHE REALLY IS AND MAYBE THE KISS FM STUFF IS AN ACT.
