Miss Ivy Queen, she whose life is comprised of so much more than sailing on yachts and wearing glamorous leotards, is definitely fierce. And fabulous. Which, you might be aware, are words often used in describing drag queens. Or transvestites. Or transsexual club performers with lips shiny and bright as the glistening hood of a brand new Corvette. Or a brand new pair of labia and hood of a different sort. A club performer like, say, Amanda Lepore. Which got us thinking (and, let’s be honest with ourselves, this is something of an achievement), have you ever seen Ivy Queen and Amanda Lepore in the same room? No, you haven’t. Why? We’ll tell you. Come closer, kitten. Lean in. Ok, back off a little. That’s good right there. Alright, here goes:

Because they are the same person.

We’ve blown your mind, haven’t we? Yeah. Have a cigarette, baby.

How Ivy Queen obsessed are you guys? Must be an east coast thing… the only thing i know about her is her horsey voice (yes, horsey, not hoarse).

Ok, I get it. This blog is maintained by coconuts who are probably second or third generation Americans (hmm, sounds like Jessica Alba). That’s fine. Whatever. But why do you have to butcher the Spanish language?

There’s a mistake in the title of this post, it should be Reggaetonera (without the accent on the “o”).

The way you have it written, it would sound like this: Re - ggae - TON - e - ra (WRONG!)

The proper pronunciation is as follows: Re - ggae - ton - E - ra (you’re supposed to stress the “e”)

I only wish we had more people focusing in on grammar and spelling. I bet it’d make for an interesting blog.
