Time For The Traditional Thanksgiving Turcock Fight

As you’ve pointed out, some Latinos embrace Thanksgiving Day with great panache, while some of you can’t tell a turkey from a Quetzalcoatl. Apparently, our cousins back in Coahuila seem to fall in the latter category. Every year they ask us for a turkey, and every year we risk an FDA/Border Patrol arrest to bring the damn birds over the border. That’s the last time we’re bringing you fowl, Pocho el Guey.

I am thankful for your lovely pavo shipments, Guanabee. I’ve just been holding out in anticipation for the goods to come my way.

The natives and pilgrims would have had so much more fun had they settled their differences this way!

WTF. The turkey fighting is not cool. I’m totally disgusted you would even put that up.

Ayyyy, how do you think abuelita takes care of the pavo or chicken? By telling it to play dead and rollover, or go to the marketa and buy it. HELL NO!! She got that backyard raised fowl by the neck and spun it senseless or got a cleaver and chased it around the house like leatherface! Believe me, we were really thankful….we weren’t that fucken bird! Turkeys are savage animals, if they got the chance they’d peck our nuts or puchas off.

I agree and those fuckers used to chase me around when I was little. They are mean!
