Who Cried This Week On “Making Menudo”? Everyone!
15 November 2007, 3:45 PM. By Guanabee Staff
In the last episode of “Making Menudo”, manager Johnny Wright assembled what he considered a dream team of losers for a cruel game of, “Show me why I shouldn’t kick you to the curb.” There’s Eric who can’t sing, Hansel who’s a wallflower and Pena who has more excuses for fucking up than Haliburton. Right off the bat, Hansel cries when Johnny calls him out as a shy boy. “It doesn’t matter where you come from,” says Pena,” (even though they mostly come from Florida), “‘Making Menudo’ is dream for everyone.” (Especially when everyone’s from Florida.) Later, all the boys are exercising on the beach. (Why with shirts on, producers?) Some of them throw up.
On the way to singing practice, Hansel holds everyone up. “I don’t want to say anything,” says Pena, (so he’ll only tell us guys watching the television), “but we were late because of Hansel. It takes him so long to get ready.” Catty! Pena starts to realize, “I didn’t know it was going to be this hard.” Foreshadowing! But wait, he has a heart to heart with mean, vocal coach, David Coury. “Guess what? You’re talented,” says David. Hugs! David does have a heart. (Also, Pena is the only one who’s kind of hot.)
In an unprecedented move, after the team’s performance, Johnny, cuts TWO of the guys from the contest—Eric (tears) AND Hansel (MAJOR tears), puts iffy (but hot) Pena back in the mix and, in a shocking twist, promotes Mr. “He Can’t Get By On Looks Alone” JC who didn’t even compete this episode, because some girls were staring at him during the other boys’ performance. JC is also moved to tears. And all is right in the boy band world.

Dear Editor,
It is very nice the you keep and eye on the show and you put your opinions up on the web, I think before you can say that a 15 year old kid can’t sing or call another one is a wallflower and the other a complainer, you should get your FACTS together, these are VERY talented kids that went through alot, and they are been portrait by a TV show the way the producers want you to see things. Again this ARE VERY TALENTED kids that can sing and act at any time they are asked to. It is NOT their fault that editors and producers manipulate their acts to make them look or sound bad through the magic of TV.

You captured my thoughts: why with shirts on?
I should stop posting on Menudo posts. I don’t even watch the show regularly, and they make me sound like a pedo…phile.
