Christina Silva, the as-of-four-days-ago winner of the Miss California title, was stripped of her crown because of an unfortunate “accounting error”. The prize went to second runner-up Raquel Beezley instead. Meow!!!! The Ecuadorian-Mexican-American hotness recounted her short-lived dream to ABC News:

The president of Ecuador’s mom even called Silva’s grandmother to congratulate Silva on the accomplishment and to let her know what a great achievement this was for an Ecuadorian-American.

But the euphoria didn’t last long. Four days later Silva spoke with Keith Lewis, the executive director of the competition, who broke the news.

To add insult to the bedazzled injury, Lewis, in an infinitely classy move, made Silva break the news to the runner-up:

“[He] kept saying, ‘You have to tell her. You have to tell her. You’re the honorable one.’” That’s like making Al Gore tell George Bush he won the presidency. Oh wait, that sorta happened. Whatever. We kinda (not) feel bad about Christina, considering she got to keep her $1,500 prize and the $4,500 necklace she was wearing. Bitch, get that shit on eBay and sing “two tears in a bucket” already.

Freakin amazin. I’ve always said those beauty queens are crazy but this one seems quite normal.
