New York Yankees player and stripper-loving, um, player Alex Rodriguez has hired Madonna’s co-manager, Guy Oseary, in an effort to improve his public image:

“This is to help him have more control of his image and brand,” Guy Oseary told Variety. Oseary said his job was to “look at endless possibilities” for his new client’s future because A-Rod was “focusing on baseball.”

Does this mean Alex is going to cultivate a faux British accent, ram his religious affiliation down the public’s throat and kick and scream his way into cultural irrelevance long after his expiration date? We sure hope so!
