Cubans Are Well Educated, Says UNESCO. “Duh, LOL”, Say Cubans.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has named Cuba as the only Latin American or Caribbean country that complies with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of Education for Everybody. Well Oh My Gravy (OMG)!:
The educational component of MDGs mainly includes accomplishing universal grade school, adult literacy, education quality and gender equality in grade school, junior high school and literacy education.
On the Development Index of Education For Everyone, Cuba ranks first in the region, followed by Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
Cuban daily, Granma, (never forget!) states this is, and we’re paraphrasing a bit here, “because the Cuban government is super awesome.” We guess when you don’t have to worry about stuff like free speech, you can take more time focusing on proper grammar. Oops. Sorry, Beks.

Must suck to have all that education and not be able to express yourself freely. Oh and the whole lack of regular food (almost no access to meat or other goods, for instance) unless you are a tourist monger or a whore is also not cool.

The Cuban Revolution, since its inception, has used rationing as a means to bring social equity into its
system of food distribution. In 1998, rationing guaranteed 5 lbs. of rice, 1lb. of beans, and 3 lbs. of sugar per person per month.
Wrap your mind around that. You could probably use up this ration having a small party at your house.
Hey but at least the Cuban people are educated enough to write multiple soliloquys about how hungry they and their children are with no recourse or remedy. Oh and I wonder if during the regular medical check-ups, the doctor can give them a porkchop to address the hunger pangs.
