  Dumb. Not all white people invented Mexico. That was a collaboration of all involved. To stop at France as far as white in Europe is concerned is ridiculous. White is really an invention of all around Europe descent, in that the only true whites are far north. That's why the Anglos and Saxons tried to fight off the Normans, remember?

  White, like brown is a subjective term, seeing how most whites are mixed, and vice versa. If you are speaking of whites along the med sea, then you are depicting people anywhere from light,light skinned to darker olive skinned, and sometimes darker. Most Mexicans are mixed, or are mestizos. They hold most of the power in Mexico, only allowing the more European people to do their thing, because of less importance put on dinero and more on being free from too many of those rather mundane concerns. Unlike the once invading Spaniards, they usually don't feel the neccessity to build an empire, simply because they are surrounded by pushed aside "Natives", because they are the pushed aside Natives, mestizos included, in a country their own, surrounded by their own. Now if the soley "European" doesn't want anything to do with the Natives, mestizos included, then what can I say? Who cares?

  Mexico is a smelting pot, where even Mexican actresses can be white without the surgery. I know plenty of beautiful, white ladies who are mixed, mixed, mixed with Native blood by at least half, and they are far prettier than the ones in the soaps!

  There was an era when white people wanted to rule all of south and north America. They got to the US border, and still can't completely rule that. Native and Latins in general are a vivacious people who have not allowed that to happen, completely. The mix that is going on now is incredible. I'll bet someone in Giselle's family either was, or is now currently with a Native, or mixed person in Brazil? Does this matter? It does most of the time, unless of course, they would conquer without all the spoils?

  What are you ranting about? Speaking of English - learn it! Yeah, I highly doubt that; you're probably just a Mexican who's too ashamed to admit it. American English - i.e. the differences in spelling - are based on old English spelling. As for our superior accents that don't sound overly-gay and posh, they're much closer to the original English accents, and even most UK linguistics would agree. Now you're just making less and less sense. It's as if you're trying to defend Mexico from not being white, as if it makes it inferior. I acknowledge that most Mexicans see white skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes as being 'beautiful', it's the 21st century - stop the racism! And, stop putting so many white people on your TV channels. All your TV actors are white. Whites only make up a small percentage of Mexican population, so stop portraying it otherwise. There's no need to be proud in your skin color, but just be happy with it.

  Whats the big deal about the video? My blood is Spanish and Pourtegues so am I not allowed to be proud of my European roots? I see no problem with being proud of what you are. I'm proud to be European blooded. I'm proud to be Mexican-American. And I'm basically proud to be American period. I see this as no different as a Mexican making a video about Aztecs or the like. But god forbid someone embrace their European roots.

  Being mexican is not a race is a nationality,my mother parents moved from spain to mexico during franco's years and never went back my grandparents are white,red,hair blue eyes and tall and yet their very humble and live in poverty.While my meztiso father and his family are well educated and live in a upper scale neighborhood in mexico.So just because your white in mexico doesn't mean you'll be wealthy.

  This is the most dumbest comment I have ever seen. Latin America doesn't have real White People? Then the USA and Canada doesn't have real White people. Proof that Latin America is 80% mixed because that wouldn't be factual in any way. Especially since European immigrants keep on coming in to Latin America. You are stupid and your comment proved it.

  What mix are you talking about. I doubt that you know. Germans in Brazil are like an isolated population. And a lot would not mix outside of their population. Just like Whites in North Mexico are an isolated population and would unlikely mix with a mestizo. Why do people sound surprise that there are White people in Latin America or Mexico. Maybe it's the American ignorance. Thinking that all WHite people n Americas are only in the usa and Canada.
