Unshocking Revelations: Most Latinos Disapprove Of Immigration Raids
18 December 2007, 9:45 AM. By Daniel Mauser
This just in: A survey from the Pew Hispanic Center, a nonpartisan research organization in Washington, D.C, says that while the general population of America largely supports workplace raids and opposes driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants, a majority of Latinos disapprove of the raids and favor licenses.
Mildly more interesting is the study’s finding that American-born Latinos are kind of not so riled up about the raids. Also, 42% of Latinos polled said there are too many immigrants living in the United States. And who says we don’t assimilate?
