Brazilian renaissance man, ex-hippie and author, Paulo Coelho is a hero to any Latino blogger: he created an alternative society in the city of Minas Gerais, Brazil; wrote song lyrics for many famous performers in Brazilian music including “Eu nasci há dez mil anos atrás” (I was born ten thousand years ago), which Elvis adapted; and wrote one of the bestselling books of all time, the spiritual short story, “The Alchemist”. Now he is urging you to address the Davos question and submit your answer via Youtube. The Davos question sprouted a few weeks ago at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland:

What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?.

Hmmm, tough one. How about executing a ban on hard shell tacos? Or implementing the death sentence on any drug lord that threatens/kills norteño bands? Both solutions surely to be winners. The highest-rated videos will be screened in Davos (January 23-27), where world leaders will watch the videos and make responses of their own. Any good ideas, Einstein? We mean Coelho?
