Fergie And Los Tigres Del Norte To Make Beautiful Music Together. Or Just Music. Or. Sounds.

Fergie is in talks to do collaborate with norteño group Los Tigres del Norte. Neat! We’ve always been a fan of music that sounded like talent being shat on by a famewhore wearing a tiara. Or peed on, we guess:
“She said that she’d like to do something with us. They didn’t speak directly with me. What I do know is that Fergie’s producer and the person in charge of her projects got in contact with people from the company (Univisión Music), and they were chatting about how they wanted to do some things with us,” band leader Jorge Hernández said. “That’s how we found out,” he added.
The former Black Eyed Peas singer’s latest interest would suggest that she enjoys norteño music. Hernández discussed how Los Tigres del Norte and Fergie could bring their musical styles together: “Right now we’re experimenting with how to please the public with different things, without changing [the music] that’s put food on our plates for so many years, being loyal and not losing our style. We can use our instruments in a way to create a fusion with other rhythms.”
Maybe if it involves ramming said instruments into a certain singer’s mouth to muffle the sound.

Her Wikipedia page says she is of Irish, Scottish, and Mexican descent and was “involved” with members of Mexican gangs. At one point in time, she’s had some Latino in her, so why not. Mix it up with Los Tigres!
Maybe later she’ll duet with Lupillo Rivera and perform at the Gibson Amphitheater. Eh?
@ Diego: Well, she did have that duet (air quotes) with Daddy Yankee. It can’t get any more Latino than that, save for a threesome with J-Lo and George Lopez in Epcot’s “Mexico” ride. While the Fanta girls sing / cheer them on.

I don’t follow Fergie’s “career,” so I didn’t know of her “duets” with “Daddy Yankee.” I think you chose the perfect location for the JLo/GLo/Fergie, namely because Mariachi Cobre is based in the EPCOT Center and have a show there. They could provide the music for the video threesome. Hopefully it’s something as sweet as the “2 Girls, 1 Cup” soundtrack.
