How Many Actors Dedicated Their SAG Awards To Heath Ledger?

We didn’t manage to watch the entire SAG Awards last night, but we did turn it on in time to see Daniel Day Lewis, who won Best Male Actor, go into a ten minute diatribe (really! they don’t cut them off at the SAGs!) on how other actors are so inspiring to his work. LIKE? Heath Ledger! In fact, he went ahead and dedicated the award to the little guy after reviewing his entire filmography. We found this a little forced, no? On the brighter side of things, people can’t stop piling love on a scary, homicidal, airgun-toting psychopath played by Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men. We finally saw this flick over the weekend and we have to say the best part of the whole movie is Bardem’s voice. It’s like he’s got one of those scrambling filters they use to interview former cult members on “60 Minutes.” Also, we dug the hair last night. Very Al Pacino circa Serpico. Hawt.

Last night I finally saw what all the fuss is about sex wise with Bardem. The pageboy in OCFOM was not doing him any favors.

Actually, it was under three minutes. I happened to think DD’s heartfelt little ramble was the only genuine moment of a rather stale evening. And I do hope some tactless asshole makes bad jokes about you when you die…

@aname: So DDL is dead? (Since that’s who they made fun of.) Also they regularly make fun of people who have no reading comprehension skills, so welcome to the club.
