Jennifer Lopez To Shut Up Thanks To Scientology
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly set to give birth in silence, in accordance with Scientology’s rules for “silent birth:”
Scientologists believe that silent birth will relieve the newborn of any stress the first week of their life. 38-year-old J. Lo is said to be influenced by Scientologist friend Leah Remini. Katie Holmes had also said to practice the silent birth when Suri was born in April 2006.
“Although she knows it will be hard not to scream, she understands why it will be good for the baby to have peace and quiet,” a source was quoted.
J-Lo’s wailing is the least of that baby’s worries. Imagine leaving a nice, cushy, warm womb and suddenly finding yourself in a brightly lit room with Marc Anthony’s face staring down at you. Hungrily.
