Twenty-year-old Mexican singer Jorge Antonio Sepulveda has been found shot in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. His murder appears to be connected to the recent rash of folk singers slain by organized crime mobs:
Sepulveda, who was not well-known nationally, had been shot at least a dozen times with high-calibre guns.
A nearby car authorities believed belonged to him was burnt to a shell.
Authorities could not immediately comment on the motive for the killing, which bore the trademarks of the dozens of gangland-style murders that take place in Mexico each week.
Maybe the motive is something along the lines of “gangs are fucking crazy?” Who knows.
Hitman takes out another folk singer [News]

Otro se nos fue.
I don’t think this has anything to do with “gangs are fucking crazy.” I really believe all these murders have to do with shady deals made by managers and/or music executives with drug traffickers to get money for their artists. After a while, the narcos want a special performance and either the music exec, manager, or artist refuses, to which the narco retaliates with murder.
This is nothing to laugh about. Who knows who is next.

It was to do with gang members wanting to try out their “little friends” and with no war going on, they choose to shoot shitty musicians…
