Oscar de la Hoya’s newborn daughter, the redundantly named Nina Lauren Ninette, sleeps in a cradle made of solid gold. To match Daddy’s hot outfit, presumably:

Some of the luxury items De La Hoya, 34, and the Puerto Rican singer, 33, purchased for their baby include an 18-karat, gold-decorated bonne nuit cradle, changing table and armoire. The pieces were ordered from prestigious manufacturer Art for Kids Furniture, a company that offers hand-painted, French vintage-style goods.

The cradle’s bedding is hand-embroidered and decorated with little Nina’s initials, made by British linen manufacturer Gordonsbury Company. Her Robbie Adrian blankets are all organic, which means that the cotton is free of chemicals that could harm the baby’s skin.

So what? We sleep nestled against a unicorn. Made of diamonds. And magic. And crystal meth.
