Those Brazilian Albino Alligator Pasties Look Lovely On You. And STOLENY.
4 January 2008, 11:30 AM. By Guanabee Staff
Seven albino alligators have gone missing from a Brazilian zoo in Mato Grasso. Wethinks someone’s getting those leather pasties she asked for this Tres Reyes…:
One theory is that they may have been stolen to be sold abroad.
The animals, said by officials to be worth around $10,000 (£5,070) each, have no skin pigment and their eyes are a distinctive pink.
Most of albino alligators born in the wild do not survive because their skin colour makes them vulnerable to attack.
As someone whose skin colo(u)r has been described as just shy of albino, we too have found it hard to survive in the wild. So vulnerable. So alabaster. Hold us!
