A 26-year-old American man named Tristan Jay Maero, has been sentenced to 30 years in a Bolivia, prison after he and his girlfriend, a 47-year-old Uruguayan named Alda Ribeiro Costa, bombed two hotels in La Paz. Also, in addition to cougars, Maero’s pretty into vampires:

Two people died in the blasts in March 2006. Costa must also serve 30 years, the maximum penalty, for her part.

Amero goes by the name Lestat Claudius de Orleans y Montevideo, a vampire in a novel by American author Anne Rice.
