Former Playboy model and noted thespian Reby Sky, née Rebecca Reyes, is disappointed in us for doing the Latino community a great disservice in writing about her interview with a news station:
Hello,
I’m very disappointed in this article, especially being that your website is run by the people of my own Latin community. These unfortunate recent events are very real and very upsetting and I don’t appreciate the ridicule.
Not only do I have the Temple Terrace police department lying about me to national media, but there are now online gossip sites - such as yourselves - poking fun and making the whole ordeal that much harder. It’s a shame you can’t find a way to report news about your own Latin community and culture in a compassionate, or at least, decent way.

Well, Rebs, to be honest, we don’t much appreciate the ridicule, either. What kind of world are we living in when an individual who makes her living being looked at can’t go on television and announce “You don’t mess with a Playboy bunny!” while giggling without being ridiculed? A world we feel unsafe in, that’s what! Frankly, we would never dream of committing such a great disservice to the Latino community, a community of which we are blindingly supportive and proud, Miss -Reyes- Sky.
Anyway, in the spirit of giving back to our community and giving credit to those Latinos who work hard to be noticed and rewarded for their contributions, we’d like to go ahead and post a link to the website you shared with us in your email.
