Andy Garcia Throws Women Against Walls For Money, Scares Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar found it difficult to work with her The Air I Breathe co-star, Cuban actor Andy Garcia, because of how believable he is at being a crazed maniac:

Gellar battled through scenes when Garcia was forced to beat up their co-star Brendan Fraser’s gangster, and suffered herself when he turned on her character, a pop star.

She says, “I had a hard time separating the scene from what is reality. And at one point I had to leave.”

“I didn’t know the scary side of Andy. I’m a small girl, and he doesn’t let go. When he throws me up against a wall - that’s actuality.”
