Last week the gossip rags were abuzz with rumors that Britney Spears got illegally married to her paparazzi friend Adnan Ghalibin last month in Mexico. Illegally because her daddy is technically in charge of her these days, not to mention, Ghalibin is still married to AzLynn Berry. Whoops.

But did they really get married? A new issue of Star Magazine claims yes. About which they told The Daily News of New York, “Our source on this was not in Rosarito Beach at the ceremony, but is very familiar with the fact that [wedding] documents exist.”

Very familiar, like a Mexican judge? Those guys are the picture of integrity!

Star goes on to report that Spears gave Ghalibin’s wife $250,000 to speed along a divorce—an expenditure she disguised as a new Mercedes. But according to the above mentioned sources, the Ghalibin-Berry marriage still stands. This is like some Mexican freaking telenovela. Except it’s someone’s real life. Feel better?
