Remember Homies? Those cholo figurines you collected in junior high? Well, once again, the Chicago Tribune, that bastion of trendsetting has picked up on what all the kids are doing. Just like, ten years later:

These controversial characters, called Homies, are inch-long plastic dolls depicting life in the barrio and can be purchased for as little as 50 cents in the gumball machines of Latino grocery stores or off the shelves of kitschy boutiques.
