Hillary Clinton Goes After The Latino Vote In The Most Shameful, Low Down Dirty Way Possible

Experts might think Hillary Clinton’s got the Latino vote in the bag, but that doesn’t mean she’s not willing to pull out all the stops to make sure you, Easily Impressionable Latino Voter, support her. We’re not sure, after watching this video, whether to weep softly in the arms of a Skinny White Boy or put a sombrero on a kitten and squeal with delight while calling it “SeƱor Cutie-Pie.” It’s been a confusing morning. After the jump, the “serious” video where the Mexican boy with the sombrero is whisked away after the photo-op.

ugh…i just threw up in my mouth a little.

Hillz has got to turn her brain on if she thinks this won’t offend the Latinos that will actually end up voting.

I would toss Mario Lopez’s salad with Jessica Alba’s tongue if it meant putting up a video that featured a disconcertingly small Mexican child wearing a comically large hat.

    But, yes. Slow news day.

Seriously, I saw this last night on live tv and had no problem with it. The people of El Paso sent the kid up there. She just stood there. It wasn’t her fault. As you can tell by the lame edit, there really is nothing to see.

@Marimari: It’s El Paso! What did you expect? As el Bulto said, they sent the kid to her.

@ guana - hmmm OK, as long as the H.C. didn’t recruit for ‘mexican child in charro outfit to appear on national news network’

The only thing it’s missing is that the kid isn’t comically fat and bawling his little eyes out while everyone around him laughs, guaranteeing him a lifetime of self-hatred and an irrational fear of butchy white old ladies.

an offering to Clintoncoatl requires you to wear colorful charro hats. the only other v El Pasoan thing for her to do there was to eat some Chico’s Tacos in a brightly colored dress with some flowers.

I am highly offended by this “imagery,” a little Mexican boy giving the wannabe President of the United States yellow roses. Examine the old song; “The Yellow Rose of Texas.” Most lore depicts the “Yellow Rose” as a United States Black female living during the time of the so called “Texas War for Independence (from Mexico)” sent over to distract Mexican General Santa Ana, allowing for US General Sam Houston to win the battle/war for Texas independence. Texas then declared itself to be a “Republic,” but Mexico did not recognize this until the matter was “resolved” following the Mexican-American War some time later. So, what are we to make of the “gesture” of the yellow roses for Hillary in El Paso? Are the Clinton’s attempting to suggest that Hillary has the support of Black females and Hispanics, collectively; “Americans,” in El Paso and beyond? I am going to finish my Italian dinner and think about this a bit more, heY!

You posted Gen Santa Ana was Mexican. He was not Mexican he was from Spain who invaded and occupied Mexico until Mexico got their Independence. Do some history on this, you will find what a slug Gen. Santa Ana was to the Mexican people.

As for this video what is the problem? As one of millions who lives in Texas and this looking at this event held in West Texas, and it was a proud event for the little guy and eveyrone, as Sen. Hillary Clinton is not only a US Senator but she was our first lady for eight years, and is now running for the office of President of the US, why is anyone demeaning any of this?

We live in South Texas and we do not see any problem at all. San Antonio loves all cultures and the Mexican culture is a big part of San Antonians as well as big time celebrating. We have one of the greatest of all Mexican Marts in all the world, even more so than Mexico, and all peoples love it, as we love our Fiesta time too, and all our Tex-Mex authentic Mexican eats, and no they are NOT Taco Bell, thank God.

And good grief wait until our Spurs wins a great game, many a San Antonian is up celebrating with one another as we are a fun bunch of Texans, all of us!

The roses btw were a mix of roses. They were very lovely and a lovely jester. Texas official flower is our blue bonnet, they are all over the place and so beautiful. No the yellow rose is not our official flower and yes there is much to the song, a lot added on too, as that is what happens with folk lore and makes it what it is, good story telling.

Ha Ha! How do you all like your little candidate, Clinton, now? How many insults does it take to realize that she’s a snake in a pant suit. Vote Obama!
