Ahhhhh, the inevitable cheesy photo montage music video finally has risen. Above, the video of the already popular song, “Hillary, Hillary Clinton” Mexican Cumbia song. A special treat to the person who can guess how many times actress America Ferrera makes a cameo.

Hillary, Hillary Clinton Music Video [Youtube]

It sounds like the goddamn “Dora the Explorer” theme music. Do you feel like a tool yet? Obama needs to get little chulo David Archuleta to do an Obama/”Imagine” video. Puedes decir “landslide,” vatos?

Marginally related: the seven largest newspapers in Texas are officially supporting Barack Obama. I thought it was weird when the Corpus Christi Caller Times declared OBAMA RAMA after his visit but relegated Hillary and Bill’s separate visits to A12. But it was just ridiculous when I saw the Obama commercial, proudly “SPONSORED BY THE CORPUS CHRISTI CALLER TIMES” on TV five minutes ago.
Hombres, more cumbia Clinton songs (in TX)! I seriously don’t want a president based on reverse discrimination. Or affirmative action. Or whatever reason would put someone less experienced the Hillary (and Bill) in the White House. I’m officially being a douche right now (hombres), but I’m tired of the cool kids deciding some guy who’s been on the radar all of 4 years should get the nomination.

@Feminist Latinas: Paging all feminist Latinas: Keep on supporting Hills. Bitches get stuff done. Bitch is the new black. ‘Nuff said!
@Fat Elvis: Bless your heart!

You can caca Clinton cumbias out of your culo (ewwww) all you want, but Obama is taking Texas. Feminist Latinas should know better than to support la opportunista. She didn’t care enough about Feminist Latina Tejanas to have any kind of ground operation in Texas prior to, oh, day before yesterday. I got nothing against Hills, but I think if you want to see anything like progress, you gotta break the cycle of abuse, get off the Dynasty (Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton) and greet the new day.

@Benvolio: Hillary has done more for the Hispanic community than Obama. As you may know, she was in the Rio Grande Valley in 1972, participating in a voter registration drive. She helped increase the Latino voice in Texas. She worked DIRECTLY with local Latino leaders. She has also talked openly about the absurdity of the border fence in Brownsville, showing her knowledge of important Hispanic issues. The Clintons have also supported and empowered Asian American leaders.
Obama lives in a black/white America. All other minorities don’t exist or are not important. And, sadly, he may be right. He will surely win with or without Latino support. Here’s what else bugs me about Obama: In Obama land, it’s ok to demonize foreigners (the Punjab comment was a low blow that insulted many in the South Asian community – not cool!). He showed a general disinterest in the Latino vote early on (sending Ted Kennedy to win over Latino voters on his behalf was pathetic). NOW, he needs Latinos to seal the deal. How wonderful.
I’m with Fat Elvis. I’ll take experience over (empty) rhetoric any day. Hillary ‘08!!!!!!!

Enough of the Bush/Clinton oligarchy. Anybody but Hilaria.

A Hillary song video? Will they all get off Obama’s jock and get an original idea. You know you have an effective leader in Obama when even his opposition can’t help but follow him.

@Guana
It’s stupid to suggest that Obama is ignoring Latinos. Latinos didn’t know Obama. So instead of taking the initiative to learn about him, they dismiss him up front. Therefore, like every other politician, he had to start with the group where he is strongest and than work his way to Latinos, white women and working class people. Clinton did it by that same principle, she was just priviliged enough to have been a first lady where she can court latinos during Bill’s administration.
You just chose to embrace whomever was spoon fed to you, so don’t project your lack of initiative and independance on Obama. In case you haven’t noticed, once Obama was able to court Latinos, his popularity with Latino voters increased substantially, taking the edge from Hillary. The same goes for white women and working class, so give the man a break.
